About

“We each have within ourselves the ability to shape our own destinies. That much we understand. But, more important, each of us has an equal ability to shape the destiny of the universe. Ah, that you find more difficult to believe. But I tell you it is so. You do not have to be the leader of the Council. You do not have to be king or monarch or the head of a clan to have a significant impact on the world around you.

In the vastness of the ocean, is any drop of water greater than another?

No, you answer, and neither has a single drop the ability to cause a tidal wave.

But, I argue, if a single drop falls into the ocean, it creates ripples. And these ripples spread. And perhaps - who knows - these ripples may grow and swell and eventually break foaming upon the shore.

Like a drop in the vast ocean, each of us causes ripples as we move through our lives. The effects of whatever we do - insignificant as it may seem - spread out beyond us. We may never know what far-reaching impact even the simplest action might have on our fellow mortals. Thus we need to be conscious, all of the time, of our place in the ocean, of our place in the world, of our place among our fellow creatures.

For if enough of us join forces, we can swell the tide of events - for good or for evil.” – Margaret Weiss, The Seventh Gate

Who am I? I am an Alchemist, a Dreamer, a Jesus girl, a Mother, a Wife, a Daughter, a Sister, a Friend, an employee, a Certified Yoga Instructor, a Court Appointed Special Advocate for children in the foster care system… I am many things, but who am I really?  Most of my childhood when asked what I wanted to be it was so easy to answer.  I was going to be a Philanthropist.  I would answer without any hesitation as if there was a knowing within me that one day I would be wealthy enough to fulfill that dream.   Cue adulthood, and the never ending thoughts of “who am I to think that I could change the world or make a difference by challenging the status quo?”, “The problems are many and I am so small… How could I, being as small as I am possibly make an impact on the immensity of chaos that surrounds me?”

These are the questions that have run ramped in my monkey mind since reaching adulthood.  That is, until recently deciding to challenge the fearful ‘unworthy’ side of myself.

I had many ideas about what I wanted my life to be, who I wanted to be and somehow always fell short.   But one day it all clicked for me.  Why am I waiting for that one big project or idea to drop into my lap in order to turn my life around?  That’s where a conversation with my husband about creating a healthy gummy bear and just not vibing with it started me down a path that completely changed my perspective.  The truth was I felt unworthy of creating a gummy bear that could be sold in stores.  There were already so many wonderful brands out there.  I had made up my mind that there was no room for me and gave up before I even started.   But the universe had other plans for me.  Shortly after the gummy bear conversation I was scrolling through Instagram and ran into a post featuring Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex speaking at the Endeavour Fund Awards event that led me to my AHA moment.  She said “To make an impact, you don’t have that ripple effect unless each of you is brave enough to make that first wave.”  I felt inspired and focused and realized I have the power to make the first wave.

And that is exactly what I did. Giving back is at the heart of this family business; using natural skincare and all things that inspire well-being and beauty to send out the waves that cause the ripples that spread out beyond us to the lives of others. We pledge to donate 5% of each sale to CASA / Child Focus, which advocate for children in foster care.

Help us set this wave in motion!!!
